Smugglers Rock Country House has a Caravan Club CL licence which enables us to have 5 touring caravans on our one acre field adjacent to the house. Each of the pitches has access to 10A electric hook-up. We have fresh water points and toilet emptying facility.

The site is slightly sloping and the pitches are well spaced and have long distance views towards Ravenscar village and the sea. Access to the site is through the guest house car park.

Smugglers Rock CLis an ideal place to stay for a relaxing holiday or as a base for exploring the lovely towns and villages on this stunning part of the coast but still being surrounded by the Yorkshire countryside. There are many wonderful walks close by including the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk, as well as Moors to Coast cycleway. We have access to the beach only 2 1/2 miles away from the site (down 100 steps!) and it is a lovely walk to Robin Hood's Bay along the beach.

TARIFF (all prices per night)

Site open and prices valid from 1st May to 30th September 2008. Please note that only wide mesh breathable groundsheets can be used on the site. Arrival and departure time is 12 noon (if you wish to stay beyond this time, we recommend that you book and pay for another night). Well behaved children welcome. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed but must be tied up at all times on the site and must not be allowed to foul the field.

We ask that site fees are paid on arrival by cash (cheques only accepted for amounts over £20).

Booking Conditions -Advance bookings only. During bank holidays and June, July and August, our minimum booking is 5 nights. Bookings should be made by telephone, e-mail or post and should be confirmed within 5 days of booking. A non-refundable deposit of £4 per night booked (minimum £20) should be paid by cheque in favour of 'Smugglers Rock'. Unfortunately we cannot accept debit/credit cards for site fees.

Cancellation Policy - Bookings cancelled or altered with 7 days of arrival or during the period booked will be charged in full unless we are able to re-let the pitch. Guests are therefore advised to take out insurance in respect of cancellation.
